We can provide a written transcript for your audio and video files, and we can close caption your videos.
We have a year of professional experience transcribing research interviews for our local university. Our prices are calculated accordingly.
Prices:
- Word-for-word transcript (filler words included), audio or video: €2 per minute
- Word-for-word clean transcript (filler words excluded), audio or video: €1.90 per minute
- Closed captioning for video: €2.20 per minute (not counting long periods of silence in the video, if any)
For any video we caption, we will provide a separate transcript for an extra €1 (per file).
We may charge a little extra if your file presents difficulties, such as:
- someone speaks very fast, in a very strong accent, or both: up to an additional €0.50 per minute of difficult speech
- several speakers regularly speak over one another: up to an additional €0.30 per minute for the whole file
If you can do so without breaching confidentiality, we recommend you provide us with a sample so we can give you as accurate a price estimate as possible.
